We recently went behind the scenes to introduce you to one of our talented colleagues, Chrysti Dakin. Chrysti is a Senior Architect based in our Oxford studio with a particular passion for residential design.

Favourite holiday destination? Brazil! It takes me back to my childhood. I grew up in Brazil and South Africa.
Cats or Dogs? Dogs… although I don’t have any... yet.

What activities fill your soul? Interior design, baking, cooking Brazilian food and unusual dishes helps fulfil my creative appetite!
Chrysti the Architect, what are you really good at?
I have a particular interest in concept design, testing design options and developing creative solutions.
What’s your favourite part of your job?
I love designing as a team and exercising simplicity, imagination, order and respect for the surroundings.
Why would a client want you on their team?
I’m very committed and passionate about making a positive contribution to the built environment. It also helps that I’m highly organised, assertive and driven to meet challenging deadlines!
What project are you most proud of?
A couple of recent schemes I've worked on using Modern Methods of Construction definitely stand out. This includes a scheme in Hemel Hempstead delivering a combination of affordable, Build to Rent (BTR) and private homes, set to become a vibrant and sustainable community.
Whats your superpower at work?
I thrive on delivering under pressure and meeting challenging deadlines. I'm also part of the practice’s BIM group, contributing to the development of office standards and optimising the way we work.
